First sketches

I couldn’t resist having a little sketch tonight.

I’ve taken a picture of the space we going to transform.

The area in the garden as it looks now. Gravel and filled with chairs, camping bits, ladders, old plant pots. Debris, basically!
The space that will be transformed into a sensory garden.

I got a bit carried away with the sketching and now I really have to go to sleep, Miss W was awake for several hours in the night and I suspect tonight might be the same!

However, here’s the first sketch. I’ll do an aerial view another time.

A rough sketch showing colourful pots, the house cladding painted rainbow and a winding path through.
First sketch of the sensory garden.

At this stage it might look nothing like what we end up making, but I find by sketching ideas and all looking and talking about the ideas together, a design will form itself. Perhaps we’ll do another totally different next!

We think painting the house a rainbow might definetly have to happen, though, it will make so many people smile as they pass on the road, something we can all do with in our lives right now!
